Job Description

As a BMS Operator, you will be responsible for monitoring and supporting Building Management System operations to help maintain the efficient performance of building systems. You will monitor system conditions, identify alerts and coordinate with technical teams for timely action.

• Monitor Building Management System (BMS) operations and connected building systems.
• Monitor HVAC, electrical and other building system parameters through BMS.
• Check system alarms, alerts and abnormal operating conditions.
• Identify operational issues and report them to the technical supervisor.
• Coordinate with maintenance teams for troubleshooting and corrective actions.
• Maintain daily BMS operating logs and records.
• Monitor equipment status and operating conditions.
• Support scheduled preventive maintenance activities.
• Record equipment readings and operational observations.
• Escalate critical alarms and technical issues when required.
• Follow standard operating procedures and facility safety practices.
• Coordinate with facility supervisors and technical teams.
• Maintain accurate shift handover and operational records.
• Support continuous monitoring of building systems for reliable operation.

Requirements

• Diploma / ITI or relevant technical qualification.
• Knowledge of BMS and building automation systems.
• Basic understanding of HVAC and electrical systems.
• Good monitoring and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to work in shifts when required.
• Good communication and reporting skills.
• Previous BMS or facility operations experience will be an advantage.
