Job Description
As an HVAC Technician, you will be responsible for supporting the operation, inspection and maintenance of HVAC systems within the assigned facility. You will help maintain comfortable indoor environments through routine monitoring, preventive maintenance and timely technical support.
- Operate and monitor HVAC systems and related equipment.
- Perform routine inspection of air-conditioning and ventilation systems.
- Check HVAC equipment for abnormal noise, temperature or operating conditions.
- Identify and report equipment faults and maintenance requirements.
- Carry out routine preventive maintenance activities.
- Assist with troubleshooting HVAC-related issues.
- Check filters, belts, motors and other accessible components.
- Monitor equipment performance and operating conditions.
- Maintain HVAC maintenance logs and service records.
- Coordinate with the technical supervisor for repair requirements.
- Support planned maintenance schedules and equipment inspections.
- Follow required safety procedures while working on HVAC equipment.
- Use appropriate tools and personal protective equipment.
- Maintain cleanliness and order around HVAC equipment areas.
- Support emergency maintenance requirements when required.
Requirements
- ITI / Diploma in HVAC, Refrigeration or related technical qualification.
- Basic knowledge of HVAC systems and equipment.
- Practical maintenance and troubleshooting skills.
- Understanding of workplace and equipment safety.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a technical team.
- Good communication and reporting skills.
- Previous HVAC or facility maintenance experience will be preferred.
